Need support now?

For the nights you just need a friend

Community. Local circles, walks and online rooms matched by stage and suburb, so no mother is isolated.

A circle of mothers sitting together, one holding another, rendered as a soft field of light points

Why Community exists

Most mothers are surrounded by people, and still alone in it.

The village that once sat around a new mother has mostly gone. What is left is a class to book or a forum full of strangers, and very little in between.

How Community helps

  • Other mothers, matched by stage and suburb, so company is near.

  • Small and low-key: a walk, a coffee, a feed you can read from bed.

  • No commitment. Read along quietly and join when you are ready.

Community

Five ways to be less alone

We are currently welcoming mothers to our waitlist. As doors open, members will be invited into each of these spaces.

Local circlesClose to home

Small, local ways to meet other mums without turning connection into another job.

  • Small local circles

Small circles organised by stage and suburb, for company close to home.

  • Walks and coffee

Low-key local meetups for a walk, a coffee and a little company.

Online connectionFrom wherever you are

For the days when leaving home is not possible, or just feels like too much.

  • Small online groups

Small online groups for sharing experiences and finding common ground with other mothers.

  • Quiet ways to connect

Lower-pressure ways to take part, whether you feel like sharing or simply reading along.

  • Community feed

A shared Community feed for inspiration, introductions and updates, with replies beneath each post.

MovementSide by side

Gentle movement can make company feel easier because the conversation does not have to carry everything.

  • Gentle walks

Easy-paced local walks that make room for conversation and fresh air.

  • Mum-friendly movement

Movement with other mothers, with room for different stages, energy levels and routines.

EventsSomething in the diary

Occasional gatherings could make it easier to step into Community without committing to a regular group.

  • Mum Dates

Simple local gatherings to meet other mums and spend a little time together.

  • Seasonal gatherings

Gatherings that bring mothers together through the changing seasons of the year.

Peer mentoringSomeone who understands

One-to-one connection with someone who understands the everyday experience of motherhood.

  • Peer introductions

Introductions between mothers with shared experiences, interests or stages of life.

  • A supported mentor path

A structured way for mothers to share lived experience as peers, separate from professional care.

What you will find

  1. Browse Community by stage and suburb.

  2. When member accounts open, you can read and write in the Community feed.

  3. Writing to us below does not join you to a group or confirm an event.

The feed is letters between members, not live chat. Groups and events will open once they can be hosted properly.

If you would like to tell us something, you can write it here.

For now, notes reach us by email. Tell us who you are and what you would like to ask, and a person will read it and write back.
